The optical isolators are passive optical devices that allow light to be transmitted in only one direction. They are most often used to prevent any light from reflecting back down the fiber, as this light would enter the source and cause backscattering and feedback problems. Optical feedback degrades signal-to-noise ratio and consequently bit-error rate. Ideally a optical isolator would pass all light in one direction and block all light in the reverse direction.

Fixed hybrid optical attenuators (Hybrid Male-Female Fixed attenuator) convert fixed level of attenuation between different connector. Fixed hybrid optical attenuators with Male-Female configuration are very useful in connecting fiber patch cords with different connectors type. Because both a connector plug (male) and an adapter socket (female) are provided, this hybrid adapter fits in various circumstances, offering flexibility and reducing the size, weight and complexity of the system.

Armored fiber patch cords (Armored multi Fiber cable) retain all the features of standard fiber patch cord, but they are much stronger. The armored fiber patch cords will not get damage even it is stepped by an adult, and they are anti-rodents, when use such armored fiber patch cord, people do not need to worry that the rodent animals like the rats may bite the cables and make them broken. Although armored fiber cables are strong, they are actually as flexible as standard fiber optic patch cords; they can be bended randomly without being broken.

Optical Terminators (Plug in type or Build-out type) are used to terminate unused fiber connector ports in fiber optic systems so optical terminators unwanted reflections are not introduced back into the system. It is used in fiber optic network to install on the possibly unused ports. In fiber optic network there may beunused ports in the whole system, such unused ports will create unwanted return loss and degrade the whole network performance.
