LFO Filter WDM module is based on Thin Film Filter (TFF) technology. Our Filter-Based WDM product family covers following wavelength windows commonly used in optical fiber systems: 1310/1550nm (for WDM or DWDM optical communications), 1480/1550nm (for high-power DWDM optical amplifier/EDFA), 1510/1550nm (for DWDM multi-channel optical networks) and 980/1550nm (for high performance DWDM optical amplifier/EDFA) and 1310/1490/1550nm (for PON/FTTX/test instrument) .

LD-PD Fiber Pigtails (Fiber Pigtail or Pigtail Fiber) are required for the manufacturing of Coaxial Modules, Butterfly Modules and Optical Functional Modules. One end of the Fiber Pigtail is terminated with an angled polished SUS Metal Ferrule. The SUS Metal Ferrules are assembled by press fitting our Ceramic (zirconia) capillaries into precision metal housings and flanges. SC and LC Connectors are then terminated on the other open end of the Fiber Pigtail.

Mux (Multiplexer) products combine several data signals into one for transporting over a single fiber. Demux (Demulitplexers) separate the signals at the other end. Each signal is at a different wavelength. WDM greatly increases the capacity of systems.
