What is Fixed Hybrid Attenuator?

Fixed hybrid optical attenuators (Hybrid Male-Female Fixed attenuator) convert fixed level of attenuation between different connector. Fixed hybrid optical attenuators with Male-Female configuration are very useful in connecting fiber patch cords with different connectors type. Because both a connector plug (male) and an adapter socket (female) are provided, this hybrid adapter fits in various circumstances, offering flexibility and reducing the size, weight and complexity of the system.
