Inphi sampling CMOS 100-Gigabit Ethernet PHYs
September 20, 2011Inphi Corp. (NYSE: IPHI) has announced the availability of a pair of 100-Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) CMOS PHYs. Based on Inphi's iPHY architecture announced in March, the IN112510 100GbE CMOS Gearbox and IN012525 100GbE CMOS Clock Data Recovery (CDR) chipsets integrate multiple channels along with transmit and receive functions.
JDSU targets 2012 for ‘Self Aware Networks’ product suite
September 20, 2011JDSU (NASDAQ: JDSU) (TSX: JDU) has announced at ECOC its intension to offer a suite of five optical communications products in the second half of 2012 targeted at what it calls “Self Aware Networks.” The suite will include a wavelength-selective switch (WSS) two-pack, dual multicast switch, optical channel monitor, hybrid Raman/Erbium amplifier, and an EDFA array.
OE Solutions CWDM bi-directional pluggable modules
September 20, 2011OE Solutions Co. Ltd. has announced the production of single-fiber bi-directional SFP optical transceivers for CPRI and OBSAI standards with CWDM wavelengths. For the OBSAI application, the rates are 6.144, 3.072, 1.536, and 0.768 Gbps. For the CPRI application, the rates are 6.144, 3.072, 2.4576, 1.2288, and 0.6144 Gbps.
