Fiberoptic lighting design applications

The quality of light is much weaker than traditional lighting, so some believe fiberoptic lighting is most useful in creating a mood.

Fiberoptic systems can be used to create a line of light around the pool, or just single lights. They have been used under sheet waterfalls to dramatic effect.

Some have installed clusters of single lights on the floors and walls of pool, spas and waterfeatures to create a starry-night effect, where it looks like a constellation of stars. This is a more complicated and costly process, although some fiberoptic manufactures have refined pre-packaged systems to make it more efficient and foolproof.
