Optimum Lightpath helps Budd Van Lines improve bottom line

Budd Van Lines of Somerset, N.J., is deploying high-bandwidth, value-based Internet and voice services powered by a 100% fiber-based network from Optimum Lightpath, a provider of Ethernet-based communication systems for New York metropolitan area businesses.

As a result of the 100% fiber network, the company has been able to roll out complex video monitoring of six national locations, a sophisticated GPS-tracking and alert application, and a better experience for its customers and employees, while also saving $25,000 annually.

Budd Van Lines sought to upgrade a legacy network based on T1 lines, which made moving big data packets impossible.
