Industrial Strength, Highly Reliable S.I. Tech Model

S.I. Tech has been manufacturing model 2005, a RS232 to Fiber Asynchronous Bit-Driver?, for over 23 years. Many of our customers over the years have reported this product's use for 10, 15, 20 years on a continuous basis without failures. The product is typically used in industrial applications, metal manufacturing, oily or dirty plants all over the USA and many other countries.

One of our customer's plant, Atlas Blowpipe & Sheet Metal, was under water for 2 weeks due to Hurricane Katrina & subsequent flooding in New Orleans, LA area. The plant is located in Metairie, LA. When electrical power was restored in January 2006, Bob (Plant Manager), reported that his equipment worked flawlessly. On November 20, 2006, model 2005 finally failed. Atlas Blowpipe and all of its employees are surprised and pleased that S.I. Tech model 2005 worked so well and so long without failure. Atlas Blowpipe purchased an identical unit which is still manufactured by S.I. Tech and all systems are up and running well.

This proves the reliability of S.I. Tech 2005 with all adverse conditions. Also proves that fiber optic systems are highly reliable with a long service life.S.I.
