Cable&Wireless Worldwide gains resilient connectivity in Interxion’s data centers

Cable&Wireless Worldwide, a mission-critical communications provider, has extended its data center collaboration with Interxion Holding NV (NYSE:INXN), a European provider of carrier-neutral colocation data center services.

Cable&Wireless Worldwide operates points of presence (POPs) in Interxion’s data centers alongside its own, ensuring resiliency for its next-generation network across Europe.

The Cable&Wireless Worldwide multi-service platform, running over its next-generation network, is well suited for multinational enterprises with European branches that require applications for VoIP, IP-VPN, managed IT security services, video conferencing, and performance management. The platform is also available for use by media and financial organizations, which can benefit from ultra-high-performance and high-speed infrastructures.

Interxion’s facilities offer direct access to 20 Internet exchanges, representing the busiest content aggregation and exchange centers in Europe. For customers requiring multi-site colocation in Europe, Interxion provides a single Service Level Agreement that applies across its entire footprint, supported by the European Customer Service Center, a multi-lingual, single-point-of-contact network operations center.
