Charles Industries’ 360-80 Intelligent Channel Bank to support Airport Cable Loop Program

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has approved the 360-80 Intelligent Channel Bank from Charles Industries Ltd., a provider of outside plant innovations for telecommunications, for use with the Airport Cable Loop Program.

The FAA's Airport Cable Loop Program (ACLP) is designed to update the broadband capabilities of communications networks at airports throughout the country by leveraging fiber-optic technology. The 360-80 is part of the tool set that will facilitate network modernization.

Charles is working with Walker and Associates to deliver logistics and distribution services to the FAA for the Airport Cable Loop Program.

The Charles 360-80 product line includes more than 12 different service modules and has been deployed in a variety of applications by telecommunications and wireless service providers, MSOs, utilities, and governmental agencies.
