Tower Cloud Announces New Fiber Optic Based Backhaul Network in Dothan, Alabama

Tower Cloud, Inc., a leading-edge fiber optic and wireless backhaul network provider, today announced the launch of a new fiber optic based backhaul network in Dothan and southeastern Alabama. The network provides high capacity backhaul to wireless carriers supporting the rollout of 4th Generation wireless services to residents in the Dothan and Fort Rucker, Alabama areas.

Leveraging pure Ethernet and IP/MPLS broadband technologies, Tower Cloud operates a fiber-focused network to backhaul voice, video and data from cell sites for wireless carriers. The Dothan/Fort Rucker network serves 48 cell sites through more than 135 route miles fiber.

Tower Cloud continues its expansion and growth with the launch of its 7th new market in the southeastern United States.
