CommScope sells wireless test and measurement line to Anite

CommScope Inc. (NYSE: CTV) says it has sold its wireless test and measurement product line to Anite plc. Anite supplies test and measurement tools under the Nemo brand through its network testing business based in Oulu, Finland.

The price Anite paid for the CommScope assets has not been disclosed. The transaction closed January 7.

Anite has acquired the Invex wireless test and measurement product portfolio from CommScope’s Andrew Solutions, existing customer commitments, and approximately 20 CommScope employees who directly work for the Invex product line. The remainder of those employees who previously supported the Invex product line will remain with CommScope’s Andrew Solutions.

“Andrew’s measurement tools are an excellent addition to our already strong Nemo product portfolio,” said Jukka Honkila, managing director of Anite’s Network Testing business. “With the new wider product range, we are well positioned to address the broad demands of wireless networks’ measurements from standard KPI collection to fully fledged benchmarking and advanced post analysis.”
